The Village is 64-acre redevelopment project located in the City of Oxnard. This high density, mixed-use, transit-oriented development includes 1,500 residential dwellings (townhomes, live/work townhomes, condominiums, and apartments), 50,000 S.F. of "Main Street" retail, community recreation centers, two high-rise residential towers, and a multi-modal transportation center. The Village showcases "Smart Growth" and "New Urbanist" planning principles, and unique European style architecture to create a vibrant new community. Higher density housing types will create more attainable housing for segments of the population that are underserved, such as workforce professionals, young couples, senior citizens, and lower income families. The Main Street retail component will provide direct access to neighborhood services and jobs within a comfortable walking distance. A multi-modal transportation center will provide on-demand access to alternative modes of transportation (bus/shuttle service, Segways, electric cars, car-sharing, bicycles, etc.) and will serve as a transit hub for residents of northern Oxnard. The Daly Group's involvement in The Village project includes the overall entitlement
strategy and project management.
